PAPUA NEW GUINEA MISSION UPDATE
Ellison (black and white dress next to the graduate) has been working with about 20 orphaned children in Papua New Guinea. The 17-year-old student and the children were recently invited to share in a young man’s college graduation party. He grew up as an orphan and wanted the children to see what is possible. It’s amazing what God can do when we let Him lead.I met 17-year-old Ellison Koi while in Papua New Guinea sharing the gospel last year. She and her mother, Eli, work with orphaned children, which is a serious concern in her community.Ellison and Eli cook, sew clothes and do much more for 20 children they have “adopted.” Beyond providing for their basic needs for food, clothing, and soap, Ellison and Eli hope to pay for the children’s primary school tuition and build a home for them.I shared $100 of the donations given to GRM2 for this mission. It allowed Ellison to buy 20 shirts, some of which you can see the children holding in the second picture. If you would like to share a generous donation to help these children, it would change the trajectory of their lives.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Along one of the walking trails in Columbia, Md., my eye caught this fairy/gnome house built inside a tree trunk.Of course I opened the door! What treasures have we placed within our tiny emotional houses? The Bible encourages us to fill them with “the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit”—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).Let’s restock or discard our “treasures.”
SUSTAIN MENow it’s time to make an appointment with the doctor in the sky: the sun. Those early morning rays of light
regulate the circadian rhythm, give healing infrared therapy to the skin and body, plus make us feel better overall! The sun is known for its disinfecting powers as our pioneers had no other choice but to dry their wet laundry in the sunshine. It has the ability to give the body vitamin D with just 15 minutes per day. The sun is an excellent remedy for depression and anxiety. It’s free, and it’s out most every day.Catch those ☀️ rays all the days! — Holly Hiebert, president and director of Cornerstone of Health in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
